University of Canberra College (UC College) is the official pathway provider to the University of Canberra (UC) – one of the world’s top young universities (Top 100 in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024). The college delivers a wide range of foundation, diploma, postgraduate preparation and academic English programs for international students, helping them transition smoothly into undergraduate and postgraduate study.

All programs are delivered on the main UC campus in Bruce, Canberra. Students benefit from access to world-class facilities, including modern libraries, labs, accommodation, sports centres and student support services – fully integrated into university life.

🎓 Programs Offered at UC College

1. Foundation Studies

• Eligibility: Completion of Year 11 (or equivalent international education).
• Purpose: Prepare students with Year 12-level academic skills and knowledge, enabling direct entry into Year 1 of undergraduate programs.
• Duration: 2–3 trimesters (approx. 8–12 months).

2. Diploma Programs

• Eligibility: Completion of Year 12 with GPA ≥ 5.5 (Vietnamese scale).
• Outcome: Upon successful completion, students can progress directly into Year 2 of a relevant UC bachelor’s degree.

3. Graduate Certificate in Academic Foundations

• Eligibility: Completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Purpose: Strengthen academic skills, research ability, and English to qualify for a UC master’s program.
• Duration: 1 trimester (~4 months).

4. Academic English (ELICOS)

• Intensive English preparation courses offered in 5-week blocks throughout the year.
• Designed for students who need to meet English entry requirements for academic study.

📋 Entry Requirements & Tuition Fees (2025)

Alternative English qualifications accepted: TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Cambridge English, and OET.

  • Trimester 1: 3 February 2025
  • Trimester 2: 26 May 2025

• Graduate Certificate:
