📚 ECC Academic Programs

1. Diploma (Year 1)

• Who it's for: Students who have completed Year 11 (or equivalent).
• Majors available:
  • Commerce
  • Hotel Management
  • Information Technology & Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Health Science
  • Communications & Creative Industries
• Duration: 2–3 trimesters (~8–12 months)
• Entry requirements:
  • Minimum GPA: 6.0
  • IELTS 5.5 (no band lower than 5.0)
• Tuition fee: ~A$26,500/year
• Intakes: February, July, October

2. Diploma (Year 2)

• Who it's for: Students who have completed Year 12 (or equivalent).
• Pathway: Leads directly to second year of a bachelor's degree at ECU.
• Majors available: Same as Diploma Year 1
• Entry requirements:
  • High school graduation with GPA ≥ 6.0
  • IELTS 5.5 (some majors may require IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.5)
• Tuition fee: A$31,000 – A$36,000 depending on the program
• Intakes: February, July, October (limited intake months for specific majors like Health Science)

3. Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP)

• Who it's for: University graduates who do not meet direct entry to ECU master's programs.
• Majors available:
  • Business
  • Information Technology
  • Communications
• Duration: 1 trimester (~3–4 months)
• Entry requirements:
  • A recognized bachelor’s degree
  • IELTS 6.0 (no band below 6.0)
• Tuition fee: ~A$14,100 – 21,000
• Intakes: February, April, July, October

4. Academic English Program

ECC offers Academic English courses for students who need to improve their English proficiency before starting their main program.

• Duration: 10–40 weeks (based on placement test results)
• Tuition fee: A$475/week (2025)
• Start dates: Every 5 weeks
• Free English placement test is available.

💡 Students with the required English level can start their diploma or postgraduate program immediately.

• Eligibility: Students enrolling in English + Diploma/PQP package

• Condition: Minimum WAM of 65% in first trimester

3. ECU International Undergraduate Scholarship

• Value: 20% tuition discount for the full duration of an ECU bachelor’s degree
